After the (not so) cold winter and its peaceful atmosphere...
A nicely busy month was waiting for me ^^
Tuparit/Housewarming Party/Pendaison de crémaillère
These are the best pictures so far. Nothing special about this apartment, except that we feel good in it ^^
We have 2 rooms (1 LV and 1 BD), a separated kitchen, bathroom and a bigger balcony. All together, a nice 44 square metered "sweet home" (400E/month only, all included, even internet...thanks campus system !)
What I specially like about it:
- The huge windows that let the sun go inside almost all day long. We have the sun from 11 am until the end of the day. It is just perfect since it allows us (i.e. Olli) to over sleep as wished.
- The new color of the couch: I was really sick of all the blue we used to live with at Olli's previous apartment! So we agreed (after begging him so long that he had to give up on the blue...ok it took me 5 sec...) for a warmer atmosphere for the living room (happy Milou!). It is the first act of decoration I did --> I covered the couch in orange! Cash, direct!
- The sauna in the building: we have sauna each tuesday between 6-7 pm (there is 1 sauna per building, each couple got its own schedule).
What I however like less:
- The neighbour who trains everyday for at least 2 hours per day on his trompet, and who apparently only knows two songs "somewhere over the rainbow..." and "happy birthday to you..." I usually don't mind, he doesn't play too loud /(not like Lucas, my ex.flatmate, who got used to enjoy scarrying me by training his baryton while I am trying to rest on the couch...thanks Lucas ;-)/ but since I started studying for the exams, I surprisingly noticed that my tolerance level fell down quickly.
- The fact that there is no blinds in the living room. As a result, if I am at home in the middle of the afternoon, I find myself taking a shower because the living room can quickly become an oven if it is 20 deg outiside (and believe me or not, we got nicely 20 deg last week during 3 or 4 days!)

On the 29th of March, Olli and I moved in a apartment of our own!
Of course, 2 weeks after, we celebrated it with a party with our friends, party which finished around 5 in the morning...

I couldn't leave (momentarily) Finland without spending an other week end at Olli's parents' summer house!!! If you d'ont know what
I am talking about, please refer to the previous article about this topic, so called "7th week end --> Finnish Summer House (le pieds!)".
It was as nice to spend some time there as it was the first time. I think you never get used to it, it's enjoyable each time! The only thing that has changed --> the water temperature :-/ I checked the temperature on internet and it attained barely 5 deg !!! So between 2 sauna's sessions, we went "swimming" (i.e trying not to drown and to keep moving in the water, the water was so cold that it was a real challenge!). I guess that my record is 2 minutes (minable). Once out of the water, while my body looks like a tomatoe and my feet strangely start looking purple, Olli is as white as before going into the water!! I guess that he trained a lot (I recall --> he is Finnish :-P) and that now he is completely "immune".
